Satyam Q3 net up 20%

Satyam Computer today reported a 20 per cent jump in its third quarter net profit.

Net profit in the December ending quarter rose to Rs 174 crore from Rs 145 crore in the October-December quarter of 2003-04.

The company's income in Q3 grew by 29.2 per cent to Rs 893 crore from Rs 691 crore in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.

On the BSE, shares of Satyam Computer were up Rs 1.35 or 0.38 per cent to close at Rs 359.90.
