Engineering and construction giant Larsen & Toubro today
posted a 29 per cent jump in its third quarter net profit.
L&T's Q3 net profit has gone up to Rs 132 crore in the
December ending quarter from Rs 101 crore in the
corresponding quarter in 2003-04.
The company's third quarter sales have gone up by 36 per cent
to Rs 3230 crore in October-December from Rs 2375 crore in
the Q3 of the previous year.
Income, EPS up
L&T's other income in Q3 is at Rs 83.5 crore which is up from
Rs 43.4 crore in Q3 of 2003-04.
The company's Q3 EPS is at Rs 8.68 up from an EPS of Rs 7.29
in the December ending quarter of 2003.
