Manekha Gandhi, Former Minister Of Social Justice and
Empowerment, Govt. Of India was recently in the city on 16th
Oct 2004 for the felicitation of Karuna Club members. The
Function was held in Guru Shree Shantivijay Jain College for Women, Vepery.
The
Organization has been a champion of promoting humane values
like compassion, kindness, love and respect for ecology,
environment and vegetarianism.
The
Organization works with other organizations like Blue Cross
to promote the cause of humaneness in the society.
