 Kadhal
Arangam is a film directed by Velu Prabakar. He had earlier
directed films like Kadavul, Nalaya Manithan, Agaran and
Puratchi Karan. Kadhal Arangam was started three years ago
starring new faces. Censor Board officials declined to clear
this film on the grounds that this film contained obscene and
nude scenes. Again this film was sent to the revising
committee which also did not permit this film for screening.
Hence Velu Prabakar had no other alternative but delete these
nude scenes. He has also changed the title as Kadhal
Pakakangal. He has reshot the scenes by making some changes
in the story in lieu of the nude scenes. Velu Prabakar is
also acting in this film in a role of an advocate. This film
is ready to be sent for Censor Board clearance.
