Arya, who
made a sensational debut in Arindhum Ariyamalum as a baddie
and played the hero in Ullam Ketkume, teams up with Sonia
Agarwal in Oru Kalluriyin Kadhai. Chozha Creations who
introduced Ajith
in Tamil in the film Amaravathy produces the film. Nandha
Periyasamy an associate of Selva and Gandhi Krishna debuts as
the director. Arya says "I have a plum role in this film. I
am thrilled to get an opportunity like this in beginning of
my career itself. It is a story which transforms the past in
to present. Nanda sir has portrayed the human relationships
in a beautiful way." Like Ajith , Arya would make it big says
the producer.
Sonia Agarwal teams up with Arya and comes as an orthodox
Iyengar family girl. After hearing the story Sonia was so
impressed that she didn’t even ask about her remuneration but
was curious to know about how many days she was required for
the project.
On speaking about the film Nanda Periasamy says, "As the
title suggests the story is centered on a college campus and
it is about a group of friends, who decides to meet at
certain place after completing their studies. It is a youth
subject which is told in a very different manner. Satya
played by Arya and Jothi by Sonia Agarwal are the most
powerful characters in the film."
Other highlights of the film are Music and Lyrics. Yuvan
Shankar Raja has scored mind blowing tunes and Na. Muthukumar
has given has penned the lyrics.
Mouli, Pyramid Natarajan, Charlie, Sandhanam, Sasikumar,
Ravikumar, Saruhaasan, Manju and Sai Madhavi play the
supporting cast. Apart from direction, Nanda Periyasamy pens
the story and screenplay. The film which is shot in Thenkasi
and Chennai will hit the cinema halls soon.
