Sivaji, the movie directed by Shankar,
Produced by AVM has started shooting
without much fanfare.
RaniMukherjee is also found to act in
Shivaji as another pair to rajnikanth
 This
is the ninth movie of Rajnikanth
directed by AVM.
Recently there was a Photo Shoot in the
AC theater of AVM Studios of the Son/
Father role for Rajnikanth. In this Son
Rajnikanth was in Jeans and T Shirt and
the father Rajnikanth was in tough
costumes like the one in Moratukallai.
This is the first time Sujatha is
writing a Story for a Rajnikanth Movie
but earlier he has written story for 2
of his movies Gayathri and Priya.
For this movie Comedian Vivek has given
a continuous 120 day call sheet. And has
been promoting saying that this movie
would again put him at the top of the
charts.
For the lead role shaker is said to be
in talks with Mamooty, Mohanlal,
Shatrughan Sinha and Mohan Babu. Since
Mamooty has already acted with him in
dalapathy rumors have the coin in
Mohanlal.
 SO
far Mr Sundaramoorthy has been his
makeup man but in this movie even that
has been changed, a new lady Ms banu has
been given the chance. She is from the
Ad industry.
Since she is a lady she was initially
not given an opportunity to join the
association but after representation in
the court she is now approved and a
member of the association.
The first segment of shooting has been
started in Hyderabad film city and this
is a song with magnificent settings, the
shooting of this song alone is expected
to go on for 10 days.
The shoot team is expected to be back in
Chennai by 26th dec 2005.
After coming to Chennai they are are
shooting here for 5 days after which
they are moving to New York where they
are shooting the son’s role.
Mr S P Muthuraman a very connecting bond
between Rajnikath and AVM has been made
the associate producer in this movie
which is yet another highlight for this
movie. (This is one very interesting
highlight and a very kind gesture of the
movie!)
