Tuesday, January 18, 2005 (Lucknow):
The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court has summoned
BJP president LK Advani on February 25 in the Babri masjid
demolition case.
The court had sent a notice to Advani and other BJP leaders
last November. But they did not respond.
The court has now asked for the summons to be hand-delivered
to the former deputy prime minister.
Notices were also issued against BJP leaders Uma Bharti and
Murli Manohar Joshi and VHP leaders Ashok Singhal, Vishnu
Hari Dalmiya and Acharya Giriraj Kishore. (with PTI inputs)
