Congress President Sonia Gandhi will be campaigning in
Jharkhand and Bihar today.
In Jharkhand, she will cover Hazaribagh and Daltonganj, while
in Bihar she will be addressing rallies in the Buxor and
Arrah constituencies.
Jharkhand has seen infighting within the ruling BJP.
On Sunday supporters of senior party leader Yashwant Sinha
accused Dev Dayal Kushwaha, the BJP candidate of Hazaribag
assembly seat for being responsible for the former Union
minister's defeat in Lok Sabha polls last year.
Cong hopeful
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is expected to
campaign in Haryana today.
Congress says it is optimistic of winning about 70 seats in
the 90-member state assembly, improving greatly on its
performance of 21 seats won in the last assembly polls.
