Chennai, Seventy five young men and women, who
will be employed by the Delta Airlines for their
Chennai-Paris services, were today presented graduation
certificates after successful completion of their training.
This 75 team will be handling the in-flight services of Delta
Airlines' Chennai-Paris-New York operations, which will be
launched on May 11.
"The 75 member team underwent complete training for about 25
days at our training institute in the US," General Manager,
In-flight services, Delta Airlines said.
Delta Airlines had announced to operate a daily non-stop
services between Chennai and Paris, continuing to New York,
beginning on May 11, 2005.
The airline is already offering daily Mumbai-Paris-New York
flights.
"No other US carrier offers the number of services across
Atlantic like Delta does," Sr Vice President, In-flight
service, Paulette Corbin said.
Delta Airlines, which celebrated its 75th Anniversary last
year, is the world's second largest airline in terms of
passengers carried, offering daily flights to 487
destinations in 88 countries.
