Jet Airways India Ltd. announced on Wednesday
that soon after the launch of its daily flights to Singapore
from Mumbai, the Company will connect yet another South East
Asian destination - Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia with Chennai by
operating daily flights between the two cities.
Effective May 18, flight 9W 032 (Chennai-Kuala Lumpur) will
depart from Anna International Airport, (Chennai at 2300 hrs.
and will arrive into Kuala Lumpur's KLIA International
Airport at 0530 hrs, the following morning. The return
flight, 9W 031 (Kuala Lumpur-Chennai) will leave Kuala Lumpur
at 0735 hrs and arrive in Chennai at 0850 hrs.
This non-stop daily flight between Chennai and Kuala Lumpur
will cover the distance in each direction in approximately
three hours.
A special Inaugural Economy Class fare of Rs 10,750* is being
offered on the Chennai-Kuala Lumpur route.
Flight 9W 032 will be operated by a New Generation Boeing
737-800 aircraft configured for international operations with
16 seats in Club Premiere (Business Class) and 124 seats in
the Economy Class. Passengers will have an opportunity to
experience 'the spirit of new India'. On board will be a
well-trained crew, roomier seats, transnational food, in
flight entertainment, complemented by Indian hospitality at
its best.
With a seat pitch of 58" in the Enhanced Club Premiere
(Business Class), this Next Generation aircraft with winglets
for improved performance, promises to offer an international
experience with a wide-choice of in-flight entertainment,
gourmet meal service using elegant in flight rotables,
especially selected French Wines, Swiss Chocolates and an
assortment of coffee and tea. Passengers can choose from
signature Oriental, Indian and Continental cuisine.
A choice of liquor and French wines, comfortable seating,
freshly brewed coffee will also be available in the Economy
class.
JP members will rediscover the familiar benefits of the
exclusive frequent flyer programme Jet Privilege with several
enhancements incorporated for international travel. This
includes six newly introduced accrual levels, with
enhancement of tier upgradation and retention criteria. The
Company will also introduce attractive and affordable Holiday
packages to Malaysia through their Jet Escapes programme.
