American Institute of Holistic Theology
(AIHT) offers seven different distance learning programs
with various degree levels within each. All of our

healthy in body, mind and spirit. You can learn how to
practice as a holistic health counselor or become a
minister/practitioner of health and healing. All of our

Doctor of Divinity — D.D.
The AIHT Divinity curriculum offers thought-provoking,
stimulating distance-learning course work leading to a
Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) degree. Our real-world approach
to the deep questions of theology and religion addresses
the practicalities of operating a counseling practice
while also including a popular course in Christian
theology.
The AIHT teaching approach is non-secular, seeking not to
limit the student's focus on the possibility of only one
Higher Being, but to help each individual become more
aware of, open to, and more able to develop his or her own
personal relationship to their own source of divine
inspiration.
As with all AIHT disciplines, this degree program helps
prepare each student to pursue his or her legal
ordination, should the student choose a career path as a
minister or counselor of health and healing. Request More

Holistic Childcare — B.S.
AIHT's Holistic Childcare program is for those who work
with, live with, and wish to help children grow into their
strongest, most confident, aware, serene and content
selves.
Our Holistic Childcare curriculum starts at the beginning,
with memorable and common-sensical approaches to holistic
infant and toddler care, continuing through childhood and
adolescence.
Blending physical teachings such as proper nutrition and
yogic breathing helps to foster crisp mental clarity that
is lovingly tempered with a deepening awareness of Divine
guidance. This bachelor's level program seeks to address
the whole child: mind, body and spirit.
Each year, the AIHT Holistic Childcare program helps
hundreds of parents, teachers, counselors, and day care
workers to enrich the growth experiences of children in
their care.
Our unique Holistic Childcare program empowers new parents
as well as seasoned childcare workers and teachers,
rounding out your knowledge while warming the depths of
your soul. AIHT offers a whole-child education that you
simply can't get anywhere else.
Let's teach all children to love, create, meditate, be
thoughtful, be responsible, eat properly, value their own
health and well-being, and view others with hopeful,
mindful, holistic awareness. Holistic Childcare studies
are a tangible way to improve the world, and help create a
brighter future for us all.

Holistic Ministries — B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
AIHT's Holistic Ministries explores the science of logic,
ethics, moral self-discipline, motivating principles, and
the homeostatic balance of mind, body and spirit -
including rational inquiry into questions that are
virtually unanswerable to scientific observation, analysis
or experiment. Our Holistic Ministries program includes
bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs.
At AIHT three programs in Holistic Ministries challenge
distance-learning students to seek order within, the
natural order of our universe. Offering a Bachelor of
Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.), and/or Doctor of
Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. Our philosophy of
body/mind/spirit empowers students to value and trust
their own experiences and perceptions as an accurate
foundation for their own reality.
The successful Holistic Ministries graduate's goal is to
engage, enliven and help expand each client's highest
human potential by actively, purposefully nurturing soul
work in everyday life.

Metaphysics — B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
Metaphysics is the science which investigates first causes
of all existence and knowledge. It seeks to explain the
nature of being, the origin and structure of the world, in
relationship between the ethereal and the physical.
Metaphysics holds that the soul or spirit and the physical
body are one yet separate; here the applied psychology of
religion comes to bear.
AIHT's three distance-learning programs in Metaphysics are
each designed to help students answer the cosmic
scientific question, "What's it all about?" Offerings
include a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science
(M.S.), and/or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
Metaphysical training seeks to explain, from the
beginning, the nature of being; thus, its practicioners
can often serve the dual role of counselor / healer.

Parapsychic Science — B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
Parapsychic science addresses the scientific
investigation, validation and emotional aftermath of
paranormal phenomena from near-death experiences to
telepathic experiences, intuition, and more.
With three distance-learning programs in Parapsychic
Science, AIHT helps students cultivate a spiritual
appreciation of the ethereal as well as that which is
considered "real." Offerings include a Bachelor of Science
(B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.), and/or Doctor of
Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree.
Unlike the psychologist who deals mainly with the
corporeal mind, the parapsychic studies the ethereal mind
as well. Parapsychics meld knowledge of contemporary
science, philosophy and religion into a single humanistic,
universal understanding of psychical phenomena. Theirs is
the study of how matter, energy and consciousness
interact. Request More Information
Healtheology — B.S., M.S., Ph.D.
We know that much of health is a matter of choices.
Healtheology is a theological science of health, espousing
that the two share essential common ground; that
successfully blending health with theology can indeed
yield a sum that is far greater than its parts. For
instance, healtheology maintains not only that you are
what you eat, but also that what we eat is based on how we
think. In a word, we become what we think.
Our three Healtheology programs provide awareness-raising,
provocative distance-learning course work leading to a
Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.),
and/or Doctor of Healtheology (Ph.D.) degree. Our
harmonious approach to theology and the universe includes
a popular introductory course in aromatherapy, as well as
advanced courses in somatics (movement), shamanic
journeys, angels and transpersonal counseling.
Those seeking relief from a specific condition can learn
to recognize long-term good health as a rightful
expectation, not the short-term conditions of ill health
that they may temporarily experience. Theology, the study
of God and divine law, is a science that affects human
health to the extent to which we human beings are
functioning in harmony with the universe - based on our
individual level of awareness and our own thought
processes. Request More Information
Naturology — B.S., M.S., D.N., Ph.D.
Naturology is an exclusive course of study that was
created by AIHT. Naturology comes from the root word,
nature, meaning "that which is lifelike, not artificial"
and the suffix, ology, meaning "a branch of learning or
science."
AIHT offers four distance-learning programs in Naturology,
each designed to invoke the simple wisdom and bounty of
nature in attending to our human needs. Offerings include
a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Master of Science (M.S.),
Doctor of Naturology (D.N.) and/or Doctor of Philosophy
(Ph.D.) degree. The naturologenic orientation is that,
just as humans were created with both dietary and
environmental needs, our planet, likewise, was created for
the natural provision of humanity's nutritional and health
needs. These natural gifts contribute to both our
psycho/spiritual health and our physical wellness.
Naturology holds that nature is our total source for
dietary, spiritual, and intellectual health. Naturologists
do not use anything synthetic; instead they choose only
nature's own solutions. Naturologists teach and empower
clients through lectures, testing, evaluation, and
demonstrations, using all-natural modes and methodologies.

American Institute of Holistic Theology
As old as humanity itself is the divine gift of human
potential: to connect, tap into and realize the perfect
harmony within mind, body and spirit. This holistic
philosophy is "the space between the notes," in that it
bridges gaps between tangible facts, ethical analysis, and
intuitive wisdom of the laws of life. It also forms a
continuum between here and now and the hereafter.
Theology, the study of God's divine law, is a science that
affects the health of humanity. Conscious awareness puts
the human spirit in harmony with the flow of universal
energy. This consciousness grows from the ability to
experience and learn, to express and convey divinity in
our dealings with others.
Welcome to the American Institute of Holistic Theology.
Established in 1991, our purpose is to prepare the student
for a meaningful holistic ministerial counseling or
holistic educational counseling career. In bridging the
non-secular sciences of health and wellness, AIHT teaches
you how to help others to become healthier and more calmly
centered.
