In response to society's growing need for value-based, visionary
leadership, Gonzaga University's Master's Program in Organizational Leadership was established in 1986. Since then
over 400 graduates have recognized the benefits of integrating a holistic liberal arts education with an in-depth,
practical and theoretical study of organizations and leadership. Our degree is no exception.
The Online
Master's of Organizational Leadership program affirms the University mission of providing a humanistic, Jesuit
education. As humanistic, we recognize the essential role of human creativity, intelligence and initiative in the
formation of leaders. Through intellectual inquiry of the past and enlightened awareness of the present, Gonzaga
graduate students and faculty are committed to the betterment of self and society.
The central objective of
this distance learning Organizational Leadership program is to provide an advanced degree which synthesizes knowledge
from diverse fields into a focused yet flexible plan of study that is useful to leadership in all forms of social
organization. The online degree program is designed for the student whose professional goal is a generalist
leadership position in corporate, government, not-for-profit, or community organizations.
The Online Master's
Degree in Organizational Leadership is intended to meet the needs and schedules of working adults. The distance

Gonzaga University is a private, four-year comprehensive university. It is owned and operated by the Society of
Jesus, the Jesuit order of the Catholic Church. Gonzaga's educational philosophy is based on the 450-year Ignatian
model that aims to educate the whole person -- mind, body and spirit -- an integration of science and art, faith and
reason, action and contemplation. At Gonzaga, "cura personalis," or care for the individual, is our guiding theme.

Our Jesuit mission is something we're proud of and take seriously at Gonzaga. Retreats and faith development within
the context of academic formation are hallmarks of our mission to seek the greater good. Students from many different
faith backgrounds have the option to participate in a variety of faith-enhancing opportunities.
We nurture
development of the whole person in the academic arena, as well as in student life and the greater community. There
are a number of clubs and organizations, including service projects, that our students are passionate about.
