Financial Assistance
The primary responsibility for meeting the costs of education rests with the students and
their families. Financial need is defined as the difference between the cost of education and the amount the student
and parents can be expected to contribute toward the expenses of college. As a supplement to the student's
contribution, Kaplan College is pleased to provide qualified students with a complete financial aid package
consisting of grants, loans, and/or scholarships, in addition to part-time employment.
The University welcomes
the opportunity to help students in deciding how they can meet the costs of attending college. A Financial Aid
Coordinator is available at each campus to examine and evaluate students' eligibility, as determined by the
Department of Education.

The Kaplan University is regionally accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges
and Schools Commission on Institutions of Higher Education (NCA), Chicago, Illinois. As an accredited academic
institution of higher education, Kaplan University has been approved as a Microsoft® Authorized Academic Training
Program (AATP) institution and delivers technical training using Microsoft® Official Curriculum and other authorized
materials. In addition, the Medical Assistant program at the Kaplan College has been accredited by the Commission on
