Firstware Software Solutions is
the software division of Brilliant Tutorials Group, a
renowned name in India in the fields ranging from skill
building for competitive exams and high-end computer training
to innovative management education. To take advantage of the
growing opportunities in the software industry T.Neelakantan
and Dr.Vasanti Neelakantan found Firstware Software Solutions
in 1996.
T.Neelakantan, Managing Director of the Brilliant Tutorials
Group and Firstware, has a Bachelor of Technology degree from
Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Chennai and also a
Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of
Pittsburgh. He has more than twenty years experience in the
IT industry with over twelve years in the U.S. software
industry and has been Director of Software Quality Assurance
and Testing at Harris-Lanier in Atlanta, USA, prior to
returning to India.
Dr. Vasanti Neelakantan, Joint Managing Director of the Group
holds a Master’s degree in Microbiology from George
Washington University and a PhD from Rutgers University in
New Jersey. Her twenty plus years of work experience include
fifteen years in the USA with an eight years stint as Quality
Assurance Specialist in the Healthcare and Non-wovens Sector
at Kimberly-Clark Corporation, Atlanta, USA.
Shyam Nagarajan, General Manager, Firstware Software
Solutions has over fifteen years experience in Sales and
Marketing in the IT Industry. He has taken Firstware from
success to success, developing a dynamic and highly motivated
organization that is now involved in all aspects of the
software industry from training to providing end-to-end
solutions
