The lodge is located in Madla on the banks of Ken River and 2 km from Panna National Park in the state of Madhya Pradesh.

This is a good stopover for a night for people going to Bandhavgarh from Khajuraho.

Accommodation : Cottages with attached toilet and bath (hot & cold water)

Facilities : Jeeps for jungle visits, guides for bird walks. A tree-top restaurant where Indian, continental and Chinese cuisine are served. A stand-by generator. To and fro transport from Khajuraho / Satna / Jhansi / Bandhavgarh can be arranged at an extra cost.

Activities : Wildlife viewing by jeeps & boats, bird watching, nature walks etc.

Access : Drive from Khajuraho: 1 hour.

Regular flights from Delhi to Khajuraho & from Agra to Khajuraho, 1 hr. drive to Ken River Lodge thereafter.

Air-conditioned trains from New Delhi railway station to Jhansi (Shatabdi Express), 4 hours drive thereafter.

About Panna National Park

Panna National Park is located in the central Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is one of the best in the region. The river Ken passes through the park, adding to its scenic beauty. You can see tigers, sloth bear, march crocodile, cinkara, sambhar and chital. Bird life in this park is extremely rich and varied. You can view widllife in jeeps, boats or on foot. It is close to Khajuraho and forms an ideal halt for people going to Bandhavgarh and Kanha national parks.
